SC300 VVTi Swap Part 5

Well, I finally pulled the motor and tranny with the help from my GF. Next is the auto to manual conversion and miscellaneous changes like trunk shocks, rebuilding the TT Brake calipers and getting them powdercoated red. I also need to relocate some wires under the front fender, etc. Here are the rest of the pictures.

I went ahead and ordered these new parts for the next phase.

  1. Fan Shroud
  2. Supra Upper Transmission Tunnel
  3. Seals (Crank, Cam)
  4. Shock Mounts
  5. Brake Rebuild Kit
  6. Clutch Parts
  7. GTE Throttle Cable
I'm also going to make a custom ProEFI wiring harness for the motor, that will take awhile. I'm also still looking for a Fluidyne or Koyo Radiator and Power Steering Reservoir.

SC300 VVTi Swap Part 2

Here's part 2 of the swap, we got the stock rear subframe out and installed the Supra subframe this weekend. This took about 4 hours but half the time was spent moving and trying to figure out how to put things back so that we wouldn't need to keep lifting and moving subframes around. Rest of the pictures are located here.
